reminders for the week of December 12th

Hello!
               Thursday night at 6:45, our third graders will be performing a musical:  The Nutcracker.  They have been practicing, and we would love for you to come!  It will be in our cafeteria.
               No tutoring this week.  We will resume in January.
               Going home today, is a holiday packet.  It reviews math and some reading.  You can have your student do it this week (no homework packet or spelling test this week) or you can have them do on break.  Hope you all have a wonderful time off!

Science Night Next Tuesday Night!

Next Tuesday, we will have Science Night here at Robertson.  It is from 6-7:30 in our cafeteria.  It is a fun, hands-on time for the students.  Hope you can come!! Have a super weekend!

angel tree time!!!

It is the time of year when the spirit of the holidays fills us with joy!  We want to spread that feeling to families in Frisco who need help insuring the holidays are memorable. This year 3rd grade has two “angels” we are collecting for:  a girl who is 10, and a boy who is 7.  Please send in your unwrapped item by November 29th.  Please include the angel number.    THANKS SO MUCH!!

The Class News!:The Statue Of Liberty By: Brian

Auguste Bartholdi first Visited The United States In 1871.Then,he went Back To Paris in France to make The Statue Of Liberty. She Would Be Liberty Enlightening The World.Then Finaly in 1884, Liberty Was Completed! But America people had lost Interest in The Statue Of Liberty. Then, in 1886 Liberty was standing. Then while it was standing, They Had a Celebration for the 4th Of July!

Field Trip Fun

On Wednesday, we went on a field trip to the Heritage Museum. We went to an exibit all about cotton. My favirote exhibit was the car exibit. It showed very old cars. We got to go into an old schoolhouse. There was an old covered wagon. They had to store everything that they brought along with them in the wagon. It was really fun.

The night of the Nutcracker program by: Kara

That night I was so scared I had goosebumps. When I was on stage I knew this was it. I just had to do my best.So I tried to remember my lines.  It turned out to be a huge secsess!  Finally the program was done and I felt happy.

Winter Program by class

Kara was the main character.  Dana, Isabella, and Ekjot were in the Waltz of the Flowers.
3rd graders participated in the Nutcracker.  Ms. Biscamp worked with us for many weeks.  We learned the story and music of the Nutcracker.  We got to sing to the songs, wear costumes, and perform for our families.
